Based out of Charlotte, NC, Mariah Van Kleef and her band present  a surreal blend of gritty, global, and mythic influences from near and far: dreamy, shapeshifting, noir-rock with elements of Bossa Nova, Nordic ambience and Middle Eastern groove. On lead guitar, Jason Cline. J. Michael Scriven on percussion. Korey Dudley on upright bass.  They add distinct levels of potency to Van Kleef’s ‘Siren-esque’ songwork, beckoning you into seriously hypnotic territory.
